On the 13th of October, the second User Day South took place in the Old Brewery in Mertingen. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants once again for a well-attended and successful event.
Many guests accepted our invitation and did not miss our popular information event. They were welcomed from 9 a.m. with typical Bavarian butter pretzels. Half an hour later, the event got underway.
Our Head of Sales Sebastian Schult kicked things off with his presentation Find it like Google on the soon to be available Smartsearch module in FSM. In the future, for example, it will be possible to recognise spare parts by photo. Our customers were particularly interested in this tangible glimpse into the future.
The user report from Hecht Technologie, presented by Wolfgang Holzner, was also very well received by our customers. The focus here was on optimal capacity planning by means of data transfer from the ERP system, which is made possible by our software solution.
One of the highlights was the presentation Fieldservice Management and Spare Parts Catalogue – Your Way to Increase the First Time Fix Rate, which focused on the successful cooperation with our partner Quanos Service Solutions GmbH. This was illustrated by the example of the already implemented project at Novoferm, presented by Theresa Lettenmeier and our project manager Bastian König.
Afterwards, our guests were allowed to fortify themselves at the lunch buffet in the foyer. In addition to regional delicacies, the exchange among each other was also on the day’s menu. As an expert in the field of interfaces, the network of our customers is close to our hearts, not only in the digital but also in the analogue world.
After the lunch break, our Managing Director Peter Ebbrecht informed the guests about the upcoming milestones for the next two years.
How well does the changeover from Classic to FSM work? This question was answered by Mr Dirk Venghaus from the Voith Group in his case study Worldwide deployment of a service management system and migration from Innosoft Classic to FSM.
After the lecture, our guests were allowed to exchange ideas over coffee and cake.
The last information block started with the live demo of the company Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH. Mr Benjamin Schenk demonstrated how planning works in the mobile field service. The focus here was primarily on the use of the mobile app.
Finally, our sales partner Holger Korioth presented the novelties of mobile hardware for the service technician.
As an established provider of service-related software solutions, we are very proud of the positive feedback from our customers. It is a confirmation of what has been achieved and at the same time an impetus for new innovations. We are very much looking forward to inviting you to our “Heimspiel” next year.
