When new security vulnerabilities come to light, this often causes uncertainty. Organisations want to know whether the software solutions they use are affected and whether they need to take action themselves. Several customers and prospective clients have also contacted us in recent days regarding a current security vulnerability. We take these enquiries seriously, as security plays a crucial role, particularly when it comes to software that supports key business processes on a daily basis.
In this instance, we can reassure our customers: Innosoft software does not use PHP and is therefore not affected by the security vulnerability in question. Our customers therefore need not worry about this vulnerability. Nevertheless, such incidents highlight how important it is to keep an eye on potential security risks and to continuously develop software further. After all, even if a particular security vulnerability does not affect one’s own software, the issue of IT security remains a pressing concern.
That is why we work regularly to further improve the security of our software. We have also placed particular emphasis on this issue during the development of the new Innosoft Release 2.5.1. The new version includes various features and improvements that help to make our software even more secure. Our aim is not only to respond to current threats, but also to strengthen the security of our solutions in the long term.
