After the foundation of Innosoft in 1996, we have acquired a considerable customer base within the first eight years. Not only we, but also our customers were very proud of the successfully implemented projects. The question then arose as to how the rest of the industry could also participate. As a service-oriented company, the customer was and still is our top priority. In addition, trust is very important to us at Innosoft, so we wanted to give the users themselves a stage where they could share their first-hand experiences with us. Since then, we have continued this concept: the User Day is designed by users for users.
The first User Day was held in 2004 in the DASA lecture hall. Attended by over 80 participants, with a capacity of actually only 60 people, the first event was already a success. One year later, in 2005, this success was to be continued. This time, preparations were made for a full 100 participants. Among the speakers was ABB. But again, even the large conference hall of the IHK was not enough for the number of visitors. This was to be repeated in the following years. Our customer base grew, and over time we were able to welcome more and more customers from abroad, such as Austria or Switzerland. In order to also offer them an opportunity to exchange ideas with partners from the industry, we organized the first User Day South in 2018. This has always taken place at the Brauhaus Mertingen.
Today, five years later, we are pleased to invite customers and interested parties to our “home game”. As a company from Dortmund, our relationship with BVB is a very special one: Innosoft’s heart beats black-yellow, which is reflected not least by our “yellow wall” in the sales premises. Therefore, we are even more excited to welcome all participants on May 25, 2023 at the Signal Iduna Park.
This year’s User Day is expected to feature exciting presentations from the following speakers:
Ingo Slawek, DIOSNA Dierks & Söhne GmbH.
Jörg Große Stetzkamp, HAVER & BOECKER OHG
Dirk Venghaus, J. M. Voith SE & Co. KG
Carsten Neugrodda, KVD Service Association
Dirk Sloof, Linck wood processing technology GmbH
Mark Muth, Kolbus GmbH & Co. KG
In addition, Managing Director Peter Ebbrecht will provide an insight into Innosoft’s plans for the future.
The leading topic of the event is “Digitalization in Service”. As a former service manager, managing director and graduate engineer Walter Siepe knows the processes surrounding service very well. Over the years, not only engineering offices, crane construction or machine and plant construction could be supported by Innosoft, but all service managers who do resource planning. Therefore, a special focus is on the distribution of information without media discontinuity.
As an IT service provider, we at Innosoft see ourselves as an interface within the industry itself. Therefore we are looking forward to the exchange about current trends and developments and to support the networking of our customers as well as interested parties.
